It’s that time of year again when we start to rack our brain over what to buy who for Christmas. For some people it’s easy, but some individuals just fall in the ‘I have no idea’ basket. And this is where your local market, or not so local market if you are up for an adventure, can come in handy. They can be full of wonderful, unique and quirky gift ideas. Recently I was pleased to be involved with the Eveleigh Artisan Markets and met some of the most wonderful makers. And what could more wonderful than giving a gift that is handmade.
If you haven’t already discovered the wonderful world of Herbert & Friends then please let me introduce you. The delightful creator, Torunn, has developed this amazing blog that follows the adventures of her softie creations. She puts a phenomenal amount of effort into each and every post and I love to read each new episode. But all of these wonderful creations are of course for sale. If you can’t make it to Eveleigh Market this Sunday then you can always visit either Torunn’s Etsy or Big Cartel shop. Personally, I am keeping my eye out for the unicorn to return to the story, I know a special little girl who would give her the best home.
Eveleigh Artisan Markets is on the first Sunday of each month from 10am-3pm.
