I think if I had the means I could easily be a shopaholic. Instead I have to make do with a Pinterest board dedicated to all my dream purchases. However today was one of those days when I actually had to BUY something. I know, what a horrible thing to have happen. So in a perfect storm (pardon the pun) of events yesterday where an outdoor light took on a little more water than it could handle during a brief but ferocious storm and leaving us without light, we had to call in our wonderful electrician. One thing then leads to another and I am now shopping for a new kitchen pendant.
For the really perceptive, you will realise it was an outdoor light that was the problem but it was all just part of the bigger picture in our wonderful little house. Our main kitchen light died about a month ago and we have been surviving on light from the dining area, which is not a very safe scenario when sharp utensils are involved. So we are now on the hunt for suitable outdoor lighting to suit our 112 year old home as well as a new kitchen pendant. In my dreams I would love to have one these gorgeous pendants from the kitchen above which I first saw on the Pinterest board of Temple&Webster. But as fate should have it they also posted a new pin of a beautiful pendant just today. Serendipity I should think. So here is our stunning new kitchen pendant below. I can’t wait to see it installed (and no longer worry about loosing a digit while preparing dinner).Note: this pendant was part of a limited time sale when I purchased it, the link may not be active for long after the sale has ended. Also, this purchase was not sponsored, other than being a member of the Temple & Webster website, we are not in any way affiliated.
